Israelis voted in record numbers on Tuesday, Buffalo News reported. The Associated Press reported that exit polls suggested no clear winner, and CNN reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Gadi Eisenkot appeared short of outright victory. Final results are expected over the next 48 hours, and CNN said coalition building could take days or weeks.

Alaska seeks dismissal of Justice Department Senate suit

Alaska asked a federal court on Monday to dismiss the Justice Department's lawsuit over its Senate race, saying it "has no legal basis," according to Alaska Public Media. On Tuesday, Vice President Vance said an independent candidate with a similar name to Sen. Dan Sullivan was committing "electoral fraud." Trump said Friday he directed the filing.

Courts hold off on California ballot demand

A federal appeals court on Monday declined to rule on whether California can count about 20,000 ballots the Justice Department says belong to noncitizens, the Associated Press reported. ABC News reported a judge plans to appoint a special master and appeared skeptical of the department's request for a restraining order. Los Angeles County said the demand could delay results.
